A statement issued on the 25th said that a fishing boat in the country was "shot" by Chinese ships during the fishing in the disputed waters of the Xisha Islands on the 20th, saying "strong protest and demand compensation." The statement said that the fire caused the Vietnamese fishing boat to catch fire.
