Customs: China's import of copper increased by 11% from January to August, and export of aluminum increased by 4.0% year-on-year

Beijing, September 15: According to data released by China Customs on Thursday, imports of copper from January to August increased by 11% year-on-year to 1,034,500 tons, and exports from January to August increased by 4.0% from the same period last year to 944,000 tons.


From January to July, China's imports of copper rose by 5.8% year-on-year to 890,910 tons. From January to July, exports of aluminum rose by 19.7% year-on-year to 889,076 tons.
The General Administration of Customs will publish detailed statistics on the import and export of goods later this month:
