The static sliding bearing is called static pressure bearing. The static smoothing is different from the dynamic smoothing principle; the hydrostatic bearing is supplied by the external smooth oil pump to form the pressure oil film; to accept the load. Although many dynamic pressure bearings are also used. The smooth oil pump supplies pressure oil; but its nature is different; the most significant is that the oil supply pressure is different; the hydraulic pressure of the hydrostatic bearing is much higher than that of the dynamic pressure bearing.
One of the main features of the hydrostatic bearing; it is in a state of complete stop; it can also establish a bearing oil film; it can ensure that there is no direct touch between the two external appearances when the starting time conflicts; this is definitely not possible with the dynamic pressure bearing.
Therefore; when launching the rotor of the hydrostatic bearing; the static pressure smoothing system must be started first.
The hydrostatic bearing is in operation; because the conflicting pair has relative motion; therefore, the dynamic pressure effect can also occur; when the dynamic pressure effect reaches a certain ratio; the bearing becomes a dynamic and static pressure hybrid bearing.
The strengths of hydrostatic bearings are:

2. Hydrostatic bearings have the effect of "homogenization" errors; they can reduce the impact of inaccuracies in production; therefore, the demand for production accuracy is lower than that of dynamic pressure bearings.
3. The pressure on the vice surface of the conflict is relatively uniform; the reliability and life of the bearing are higher.
4. Accurately achieve the desired bearing function.
5. The temperature distribution of the bearing is more uniform; the thermal expansion problem is not as severe as the dynamic pressure bearing.
Hydrostatic bearings are used in a wide range of conditions; from precision instruments with loads in grams to heavy equipment with loads of thousands of tons, hydrostatic bearings are available.
