Stay Alert: Recognize Early Signs of Trouble

If the main doors are blocked, breaking a window may be your only option. Fire hammers are typically located between the two side windows. Avoid breaking the front and rear windshields, as they are the strongest parts of the glass. Instead, aim for the corners of the side windows, which are easier to break. Always choose the closest window to escape, and make sure to turn off the engine if possible to prevent further hazards.

If a fire occurs, don’t panic. If the door is still accessible, cover your nose and mouth with a cloth or clothing and exit quickly.
