The nitrogen-deficient wheat seedlings have poor growth and the roots are small and slender. Eventually, the spikes are reduced and the yield is reduced. Generally, thin soils are prone to symptoms of nitrogen deficiency. Remedial measures: 7-8 kg of urea per acre or 20 kg of ammonium bicarbonate or 600-700 kg of human excrement. Foliar spray can also be carried out with 1~2% urea solution.

In the absence of phosphorus in phosphorus-deficient wheat, the root growth and development is inhibited, the secondary roots are few, the plants are small, the tillers are few, the leaves are dark green and lack luster, slightly purple, and the leaves are purple. Calcium-deficient wheat seedlings are deficient in calcium, the growth point and the tip of the stem die, the plants are short or clustered, the young leaves are often unfolded, the roots are short, the branches are many, the root hairs are few, the root tips secrete transparent mucus, and the spheres adhere to the root tip. on. Calcium-deficient leaves also yellow, starting from the young leaves. Remedy: Apply 50-70 kg of lime per acre.
