(1) When storing unused gas masks, pay attention to the following:

1 , can be stored according to the state of the factory packaging, and do a good job of dust protection, anti-virus filter is strictly prohibited to open the seal or original airtight packaging;

2 , Each quarter should be open inspection, and ventilation treatment, to see whether the mask has mildew, rubber aging, deformation and other phenomena;

3 , masks should avoid contact with hard, sharp objects to prevent scratch damage;

4 , the mask storage time should not exceed three years, anti-virus filter storage time should not exceed two years.

(b) When using a used gas mask, pay attention to the following:

1. The anti-virus filter is a one-time use product and should be scrapped once it is used;

2. The protective mask should be cleaned according to regulations before entering the warehouse.

3 , Each quarter should be checked once to see whether the mask has mildew, rubber aging, deformation and other phenomena;

4 , storage time should not exceed one year.

(a) On-duty gas masks shall be stored in special containers (packs), and the anti-virus filters and masks shall be stored separately and kept ventilated and dry.

(2) Gas masks are used only in open spaces or places where air flow is good, and strictly comply with the following requirements:

1 , according to the gas or environmental conditions to select the appropriate type of anti-virus filter;

2. The oxygen content in the environment is not less than 19.5% and the temperature is -30 °C to 45 °C . When the ambient temperature is lower than -10 °C , the anti-toxic filter element is not suitable for protection against carbon monoxide;

3 , the use of gas masks to enter the personnel should wear a portable gas alarm at the same time, gas alarm should be at least the same time to the hypoxic environment, CO and flammable and explosive gas alarm, when close to the safe use of gas mask concentration, prompt firefighters promptly withdraw Out.

The maximum concentration of the full-face mask should be determined according to the types of common types of toxicants on site, and the longest use time of the anti-virus filter of the selected manufacturer at the highest use concentration should be predicted.

Firefighters use full-face masks for no longer than the specified time of use.

4 , to confirm that the concentration of toxic gas can not exceed the IDLH concentration (see GB/T 18664 Appendix B ) or 100 times the occupational exposure limit ( see GBZ2.1-2007) , whichever is the lower concentration.

When the oxygen concentration of the use environment and the type of toxic gas are unknown or unstable, self-contained breathing apparatus should be used.

(3) Gas masks should be used in conjunction with personal protective equipment such as fire helmets, firemen's protective clothing, and chemical protective clothing. Note the following:

1 . Assemble the mask, remove the anti-virus filter from the original airtight package, or unplug the anti-virus filter sealing plug and install it on the full-face mask according to the instructions.

2 . Wear a full face mask in accordance with the instructions for use. After adjusting the position of the eye window, tighten and adjust the headband so that the mask fits snugly against the face;

3 , check the tightness. Grasp the air inlet of the antivirus filter with your palm and inhale. If the mask is in close contact with the face to form a vacuum, it indicates that the mask has good airtightness. Otherwise, it must not be used.

4. The use time of the gas mask must strictly comply with the effective protection time of the anti-virus filter specified in the manufacturer's instructions.

5. During the operation, if it is detected that the anti-virus filter has odor or breathing resistance increases, it should be evacuated immediately;

6. In the process of using gas masks, the increase of inspiratory temperature is a normal reaction phenomenon of the medicament in the anti-virus filter. Never remove the gas mask.

7. Do not use sealed anti-virus filters.

(4) Adaptability training using gas masks should be done in peacetime.

(5) The detachment shall organize the user to determine the mask suitable for use by the user's face through a quantitative suitability test.

1. The quantitative suitability test should be done every time a new mask is used, and it should be done at least once a year afterwards.

2. Do not use unsuitable masks.

(b) The gas mask should be scrubbed once every quarter to keep the mask clean and in perfect condition.

(a) The gas mask should be inspected before use, including:

1 、Whether the mask is damaged, aging, discoloration, etc., whether the window is clear;

2. Whether the breathing valve is complete or not deformed; whether the sealing of the antivirus filter interface is complete or not.

4. Is the attachment firm?

(b) The fire squadron should organize a weekly inspection of gas masks on duty, including:

1. Is there any damage?

2. Is there any oil residue or chemical residue that cannot be easily removed?

3. Whether the window pane is deformed or blurred, and whether the breathing gas valve piece falls off;

4. Check whether the anti-virus filter has been oxidized, and whether the rubber plug and the lid are loose.

(C) After the maintenance of gas masks should be registered for the record.

Anti-virus surfaces should be decommissioned in one of the following situations:

(a) The mask has been on duty for three years;

(b) Mask damage cannot be repaired;
