Steamer describes the advantages of Mejia Ficks reactive dyes

Steamer highlights the benefits of Mika Fex Reactive Dyes. These dyes, known as MEGA Ficks BPS, are highly reactive and feature a unique combination of bi-reactive groups. They perform optimally at 102-105°C under saturated steam and in a slightly alkaline environment, forming a strong covalent bond with cellulose molecules for effective dye fixation. The advantages of MEGA Ficks BPS include: - Excellent solubility, making them ideal for dusting and pulp processing; - Strong compatibility and high reproducibility in printing; - Vibrant colors with sharp outlines and excellent penetration; - High fixation rate, minimal color bleeding, and deep print depth; - Low affinity to fabrics, allowing easy removal of excess dye and reducing white stains; - Environmentally friendly and compliant with the EU's Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for textiles. Prepress Fabric Semi-Finished Products Before printing, the fabric should be properly scoured and bleached. It must be free from residual oxides, alkalis, or other impurities, ensuring a uniform surface finish. MEJIA Fex BPS works exceptionally well with sodium alginate or alginic acid esters, producing a color paste with high color yield, soft hand feel, and superior print quality. It is also compatible with semi-emulsified or synthetic thickening pastes containing sodium alginate. However, if starch or its derivatives are used, it may result in lighter shades. Attachment: Sodium Alginate (or Alginic Acid) Original Paste Recipe: 1. Formula: - Sodium Alginate (dry powder): 50–80 g - Sodium Hexametaphosphate: 5–10 g - Water: X g (total to 1000 g) 2. Procedure: Start by adding warm water to a container, then dissolve sodium hexametaphosphate. Slowly add the dry sodium alginate while continuously stirring until no lumps remain. Add more water to reach the total volume and stir until fully dissolved. Adjust the pH to neutral using soda ash or acetic acid, then cool and store for use. Dye Dissolution Methods: 1. Warm Water Method: First, mix the dye with a small amount of cold water to create a slurry. Then add pre-dissolved urea and anti-staining salt S. Finally, add 70–80°C warm water to completely dissolve the dye. Filter the solution through a fine mesh before adding it to the original paste and mixing thoroughly. 2. Dusting Method: Place the original paste into a bucket, gently sprinkle the dye into it, add urea, and mix with a blender for 5–6 minutes. Then add the dissolved salt solution S and stir for 1–2 minutes. Filter the color paste using a filter cloth and set aside. Baking soda should be added to the printing paste before it is fully mixed and filtered. Printing Process It is recommended to use a one-step printing process. The typical printing paste formula includes: - Dye: X g - Urea: 50–100 g - Anti-Staining Salt S: 10 g - Baking Soda: 12–25 g - Water: Y g Company Hot Products: steamer, steaming machine, steaming box, steaming pot, steaming equipment Company Website: http://news.chinawj.com.cn Image: Steamer describes the advantages of Mejia Ficks reactive dyes Submission: The steamer describes the advantages of Mejia Ficks reactive dyes
