In August this year, the hospital's vascular surgery team wore protective equipment to perform an angiography for up to 10 hours. When the protective suit was removed, the doctor's personal clothes were soaked.

The Intravenous Drug Disposal Center allocates intravenous drugs to inpatients in the hospital and deploys 4000-5000 bags of intravenous drugs per day. According to Zhu Yuanheng, the person in charge of the center, there are two peak hours between deployments, from 6 am to 10 am, and from 11:30 to 1:30 pm. Around 10:30 yesterday, the first working peak time in the deployment was passed and we were able to enter one of the deployment rooms.

The cleanliness level between deployments is 10,000. To enter, first go through two changing rooms. Go to the first locker room, put on a hat, a mask, and then wash your hands; go into the second dressing room, change into a jumpsuit of nylon texture, wrap it from head to toe, and put only two hands on the outside. The distribution room is divided into positive pressure and negative pressure. The air under negative pressure cannot enter only, and the air under positive pressure cannot only escape. The negative pressure is higher than the positive pressure and is used for the deployment of drugs such as chemotherapy.

After 11:30, staff members went to work. Workers wearing pink coveralls are responsible for the distribution of antibiotics and chemotherapeutic drugs; workers wearing blue jumpsuits are responsible for configuring common drugs.

After spending a dozen minutes in the deployment, I obviously felt very boring. This summer, a staff member once fainted in the deployment room because the clothes were not airtight, did not dissipate heat, and suffered from heat stroke.

In order to save the trouble of undressing and wearing clothes in the toilet, the staff try not to drink water during working hours. "After getting up this morning, I drank a glass of water at home. I didn't drink water here. It's too much trouble to go to the toilet." Liang Hong said.

From the deployment room, colorful plastic baskets can be seen. Zhu Yuanheng said that these drugs had to go through six procedures from the receipt of medical advice to delivery to the ward. In order to ensure the safety of the patient's medication, each procedure is checked by someone. In order to allow the patients in the ward to use the infusion as soon as possible, the time should be controlled within two hours as much as possible. Different color baskets are used to hold different ageing drugs. The pink basket is the first bag to be taken by the patient in one day.
