Professionals who have long been concerned about industrial development are delighted to see that China's flux-cored wire industry has developed rapidly in the past 10 years, and domestic wire production has become one of the world's largest countries. At the same time, there are more than 60 manufacturers of flux-cored wire in China (and increasing year by year), of which more than 10 have annual production exceeding 10,000 tons, and 6 have annual output exceeding 30,000 tons. In recent years, China's flux-cored wire production equipment enterprises have been swarming. According to incomplete statistics, there are currently more than 20 companies claiming to be able to produce flux-cored wire production equipment, and there is a tendency to continue to expand. Of course, the technical level in this middle is not the same, and the strength of the company is very different. Although the "2008 Annual Technical Reporting Working Group on Welding Materials" has clearly stated that China's flux-cored wire production equipment has reached international standards in both precision and efficiency. However, this does not mean that all the flux-cored wire production equipment enterprises have entered the international advanced ranks. In some enterprises with weak technical strength and lack of management experience, the feasibility and reliability of producing flux-cored wire equipment are in line with foreign advanced equipment. There is still a big gap.
Looking at the extraordinary development of China's flux cored wire industry for 50 years, it is the process of continuous advancement of equipment and international standards. Therefore, it is not difficult to draw the viewpoint that the level of equipment determines the quality of the welding wire and promotes the rapid development of the welding wire industry. After the technical formula of the processability and the mechanical properties of the deposited metal are determined, the advanced nature of the production equipment becomes the decisive factor for the quality of the wire. Because only advanced wire production equipment can guarantee the stability of wire quality in large quantities. In recent years, it has been proved that foreign countries are striving to improve the advanced nature of production line equipment and to stabilize the quality of welding wire at a high level.
It should be said that the annual report on the evaluation of the production level of domestic flux cored wire has delivered an exciting and good news to the people.
However, market and user surveys show that the quality of flux-cored wire produced by domestic flux-cored wire production equipment is close to that of similar foreign brand products in terms of process, but the mechanical properties of deposited metal are unstable in internal quality. The advanced nature of production equipment is insufficient, and there is still a gap from the international level.
To this end, this paper links the characteristics of domestic flux-cored wire production equipment with the quality of flux-cored wire products, and discusses the structural characteristics, working principle and impact on product performance of production equipment. This research has practical significance and reference value for promoting enterprises that have gaps in products and international standards to achieve technological progress, open up new ideas and enhance product competitiveness.
