**Abstract**
Sponsored by the China Machine Tool Industry Association, the 13th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2013) will take place from April 22 to 27, 2013, at the China International Exhibition Center (New Hall) in Beijing. The event will be preceded by a high-level international forum on April 21st, one day before the official opening of the exhibition.
This forum, an essential supporting activity of CIMT2013, aims to create a top-tier international platform for industry leaders and key users. It will focus on the theme “Innovation • Sustainable Development,†featuring discussions on global and China’s macroeconomic trends. Organizers plan to invite up to 10 renowned industry figures and representatives from major user sectors, with approximately 200 participants expected to attend. The audience will mainly consist of senior executives and decision-makers from both domestic and international machine tool companies.
The speakers include senior officials from leading international associations such as the American Machinery Manufacturing Technology Association (AMT), Japan Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (JMTBA), and the Italian Machine Tool Robotics and Automation Manufacturers Alliance (UCIMU). Prominent domestic leaders from the China Machine Tool Industry Association (CMTBA), as well as executives from key user industries like the China General Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., Shenyang Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Shenyang Machine Tool Group Co., Ltd., will also participate. Each speaker will present their unique perspectives on the central theme.
