The use of dense security network legislation

1. Safety nets must be installed beneath all high-level work areas. When the building height exceeds 4 meters, a safety net should be set up alongside the wall and extended as the structure rises. A fixed safety net should be placed every 4 meters afterward. Both the upper and lower openings of the outer frame and bridge-type structures must be equipped with safety nets. The installation of safety nets should follow the principle of low-to-high, with a difference in elevation generally around 50 cm. The support rods must be sturdy, without any breaks or bends. The inner edge of the net should be within 15 cm of the wall surface, and the lowest point of the net must be at least 3 meters above the object below. All supports used for the safety net must be properly erected. The small end diameter of wooden poles should not be less than 7 cm, while bamboo poles should have a minimum diameter of 8 cm. The spacing between the supporting struts should not exceed 4 meters.

2. Before each use, inspect the safety net for signs of corrosion or damage. During construction, ensure that the net remains intact and functional, with proper support and even stress distribution. No debris should be allowed to accumulate inside the net. The overlapping sections must be tightly secured without gaps. Once installed, the safety net should not be removed or damaged during construction. Any temporary removal due to construction needs must be approved by the installation unit after notification. The construction team must immediately restore the net upon completion of the task and only resume use after passing inspection by the installation unit.

3. Regular cleaning of debris inside the net is essential. When performing welding operations above the net, effective measures must be taken to prevent sparks from falling onto the net. In areas exposed to long-term acid-alkali smoke, special attention should be given to the durability and integrity of the net.

4. Safety nets must be inspected regularly during use, and records of these inspections should be maintained. Any net that does not meet safety standards must be replaced or repaired promptly. When not in use, safety nets should be stored properly to avoid mildew and deterioration. Before using a new net, check the product label: confirm whether it is a horizontal or vertical net, and ensure they are strictly separated—never use a horizontal net as a vertical one. When setting up the net, tie the bottom securely. Verify the manufacturer’s production license and factory certificate. If an old net is to be reused, it must be tested and accompanied by a test report before being put back into service.
