In the process of cutting, stamping and casting, the metal parts of the motor are contaminated by cutting fluid, wetting oil, wax, etc., and need to be cleaned before welding. However, the unstable quality of the cleaning will cause the welding to be weak, easy to fall off, and change in electrical properties. Therefore, before the welding, the German SITA cleanliness meter is used to test the metal parts of the motor during the cutting, stamping and casting process. It is contaminated by cutting fluid, dampening oil, wax stripping, etc., and needs to be cleaned before welding. However, the unstable quality of the cleaning will cause the welding to be weak, easy to fall off, and change in electrical properties. Therefore, before the welding, the German SITA cleanliness test is used. After the cleanliness is tested, the welding process is entered, which greatly reduces the risk of rework.

Test procedure: Take 10 measurement point readings on each sample, each with a diameter of 1 mm and a test time of approximately 1 to 2 minutes.





Note: 1) Cleanliness is expressed as the absolute value of RFU. The higher the value, the worse the cleanliness and vice versa;

2) Measurement results of the sample In the measurement point, the highest value of the absolute value of the RFU is taken as the final result, that is, the dirtiest point of the sample represents the cleanliness of the entire part;
